The production, sales, and exports of new energy vehicles in China have both grown by over 50%

According to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) on the 11th, the production, sales, and exports of new energy vehicles in China increased by over 50% year-on-year from January to February this year.

From January to February, China's automobile production and sales reached 4.553 million and 4.552 million respectively, an increase of 16.2% and 13.1% year-on-year. Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.903 million and 1.835 million respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 52%. The sales of new energy vehicles account for 40.3% of the total sales of new cars. In terms of exports, 282000 new energy vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 54.5%.

The relevant person in charge of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers stated that after the Spring Festival in February this year, the production and operation activities of enterprises have accelerated, and new product releases and promotional activities have been launched in competition, resulting in a significant increase in market vitality. From January to February, a new round of trade in policies was implemented early to expand the market, and the upgrading of enterprise technology and the revitalization of products stimulated demand. Overall, automobile production and sales showed steady growth. The performance of new energy vehicles is impressive, and production and sales continue to grow rapidly.
